Meet the Rollover Gift Card
The Rollover Gift Card is a prepaid Mastercard Gift Card issued by EML, the same trusted provider behind your existing Maxxia Wallet card.
It’s designed to help customers with larger Wallet living expense balances extend the time they have to spend their remaining living expenses funds, while making it easier to track and use those funds.

When to purchase a Rollover Gift Card?
A convenient time to purchase is after your final pay/Wallet transfer of the FBT year.
Your unique link will stay active until 11:29 pm (AEDT) 31 March 2026. Rollover Gift Cards cannot be purchased after this time and date.
What does the Rollover Gift Card cost?
The following fees apply per card:
- $6 for a Digital Card only
- $10 for a Physical Card (also includes a Digital Card)

The Rollover Gift Card can be used in the same manner as your existing Maxxia living expenses Wallet across all vendors.
Who’s eligible for the Rollover Gift Card?
This card will be available to Maxxia Wallet users who receive an email offer containing a unique link to purchase the Rollover Gift Card. To receive the email, your balance must be over $500 at the applicable time, and you must be opted into receiving marketing communications about our products and services.
Please note that anyone with a card locked due to Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, or those who salary package the Maxxia Wallet Mastercard with multiple employers, are not eligible at this time.
How to purchase the Rollover Gift Card?
To purchase the Rollover Gift Card:
- Access the Rollover Gift Card portal using your unique link.
- Ensure you have a minimum Wallet living expenses balance of $20.
- Your available Wallet living expenses balance at the time of purchase will be transferred to your Rollover Gift Card.
- The applicable card issuance fee will be deducted from your balance.
- Cards can be purchased up to 11:29 pm (AEDT) 31 March 2026.
Please note: your Maxxia Wallet funds will not transfer automatically. You need to take the above actions if you would like to purchase a Rollover Gift Card.
The maximum balance you can transfer onto each Rollover Gift Card is $2,500. Multiple Rollover Gift Cards will be issued if your Wallet living expenses balance exceeds $2,500, and each card issued will incur a card issuance fee. If you would like to ensure your entire living expenses balance is included, purchase the card after your final income deduction in the 2025-2026 FBT year has been transferred to your Maxxia Wallet. Your one-time purchase unique link is valid until 11:29pm (AEDT) 31 March 2026, or until you purchase your card – whichever occurs first.

Any unspent balance on the Rollover Gift Card after its expiry is forfeited.

- Use the Digital Card while the Physical Card is on its way
- Fee: $10 (GST inclusive)
Fees are deducted from your Wallet living expenses balance at the time of purchase of the Rollover Gift Card.
When does the Rollover Gift Card expire?
All Rollover Gift Cards issued in March 2026 will expire in April 2027. The expiry date is displayed on the Physical Card or in the Get My eCard app for Digital Cards. Please note that expiry dates cannot be extended.
What happens if there is a balance on the Rollover Gift Card at expiry?
Any remaining funds on the Rollover Gift Card after April 2027 will be forfeited at 12:00 AM (AEDT) on 1 May 2027.

About the Rollover Gift Card
What is the Rollover Gift Card?
Is the Rollover Gift Card available for all salary packaging benefits?
No. The Rollover Gift Card is only available for Wallet living expense benefits.
It cannot be used for Meal Entertainment benefits or any other salary packaging categories. To purchase a Rollover Gift Card, the funds must come from your Wallet living expense benefit account.
When can I purchase a Rollover Gift Card?
The Rollover Gift Card is an option when:
- you are approaching the end of the FBT year, or
- you are leaving employment and still have funds available in your Wallet living expense benefit account.
Who is eligible to receive the email offer?
The Rollover Gift Card is new for customers in 2026, and we are currently offering it to eligible customers who have a living expenses Wallet balance of $500 or more at the time we assessed eligibility.
If you are not eligible to receive the email offer, you still have the flexibility to use your Maxxia Wallet to spend any available funds on everyday items such as groceries or fuel, prepay bills, or purchase retail gift vouchers before 31 March.

Can I choose between a digital and physical card?
You may see one or both of the following options:
- Digital Card: Issued immediately. You can add the Digital Card to your mobile wallet for use with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Fee: $6
- Physical Card (includes a Digital Card): A Digital Card will be issued to you immediately and a Physical Card sent by post. You can add the Digital Card to your mobile wallet and start using it while your Physical Card is on its way. Your card details will become available to enter directly at checkout for online purchases only once you have received and activated your Physical Card. Fee: $10
Card fees are GST-inclusive and will be deducted from your Wallet living expense balance at the time the card is purchased.
Are there any minimum or maximum limits on the card?
Yes.
To purchase a Rollover Gift Card, a minimum balance of $20 is required. This amount includes the card purchase fee, which is deducted first, with the remaining balance loaded onto the card.
Each Rollover Gift Card can hold a maximum value of $2,500. If your Maxxia Wallet living expense balance exceeds this amount, multiple cards will be issued. A separate card fee will apply to each card – $6 for digital cards and $10 for physical cards (which include a digital card).
Using your Rollover Gift Card
Where can I use the card?
You can use the Rollover Gift Card at any merchant that accepts Mastercard prepaid cards, just as you already use your Maxxia Wallet (Salary Packaging Wallet Card) for living expenses.
Please note that some merchants may not accept prepaid cards or their spending categories may not be eligible.
Can I use the card overseas?

What option should I select when paying in store using a Physical Card?
Why didn’t my Physical Card work when I tapped the terminal?
Physical Rollover Gift Cards do not support contactless (tap-and-go) payments.
Before making your first purchase, you’ll need to activate your card (see ‘Delivery, activation and refunds’ for instructions)
For instore purchases, swipe your card at the terminal, select 'Credit', and enter your PIN.
Can I withdraw cash or reload the card?
How do I make online purchases with my Rollover Gift Card?
You can make online purchases in one of the following ways:
- Using your mobile wallet, if the online store supports Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay
- Entering card details directly at checkout.
For digital cards, you can view your card details in the Get My eCard app:
- Open the Get My eCard app
- Tap the card image to view your card number and expiry date
- Tap the card again to view the CVV (security code)
Note: If you purchased a Physical Card (which includes a Digital Card), the card details will become available to enter directly at checkout for online purchases once you have received and activated your Physical Card.

When will I receive my card?
- Digital Card: You’ll receive an SMS with instructions on how to access your digital Rollover Gift Card once your purchase is complete.
- Physical Card (includes a Digital Card): You’ll receive your Physical Card by post. Please allow up to 15 business days for delivery. In the meantime, you can use your Digital Card for purchases via Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Your card details will become available to enter directly at checkout for online purchases only once you have received and activated your Physical Card.
Do I need to activate the card?
- Digital Cards: No activation is required. Once accessed via the Get My eCard app, you can add the card to your mobile wallet and start using it.
- Physical Cards (includes digital): Yes. Your Physical Card(s) remain inactive while they are being delivered and must be activated before use. To activate your card, follow the instructions provided with the card. You’ll need to enter the External Account ID (EAID) printed on the back of the card and verify your identity with a one-time password (OTP) sent to you via SMS.

Can I get a refund on the card or purchases?
Problems, lost cards and support
What should I do if my card is lost, stolen or damaged?
Contact EML Customer Support immediately on 1300 739 889 so the card can be cancelled and any remaining balance protected.
We are unable to refund any funds held on cards that have been misused, lost, stolen or damaged. If the balance is spent or stolen before the card is cancelled, those funds cannot be recovered and any corresponding transactions cannot be disputed.
If you request a replacement card and funds are on the card at the time it is cancelled, a new card can be issued. A replacement fee will be deducted from the remaining balance: $6 for a Digital Card and $10 for a Physical Card.
The replacement card will retain the original expiry date.
