If the Discount is discontinued, will current leases be grandfathered?
We do not know the answer to this just yet but if the Discount goes the way of plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), which became ineligible for FBT exemptions from 1 April 2025, existing leases will be honoured until the end of their lease period provided there are no material changes to agreements.
